Sunflower Microgreen Herbal Tea

  • Ingredients (Serves 1):

    • 1 teaspoon dried sunflower microgreens

    • 1 teaspoon dried rooibos tea (a South African staple)

    • 1 cup boiling water

    • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

  • Instructions:

    1. Place dried sunflower microgreens and rooibos in a teapot or cup.

    2. Pour boiling water over the mixture and let steep for 5-7 minutes.

    3. Strain (if using loose microgreens) and add honey if desired.

    4. Sip warm.


  • Benefits: Offers a nutty flavor with antioxidants from rooibos and nutrients from sunflower microgreens, good for digestion and relaxation.

    1. Local Tip: Add a pinch of dried Kalahari desert herbs (e.g., buchu) for a regional twist.
